Orientation Description
At
the beginning of each term, IAU Erasmus+ Office holds a mandatory
orientation program for new exchange students. This program is designed
to provide you with valuable information and facilitate your transition
to Istanbul Aydin University. By participating in Erasmus+ Student
Orientation, you will gain essential information about:
• Residence permit rules and regulations that affect your visa status
• Student health services and health insurance requirements at IAU
• Academic life at IAU and how to register for classes
• Campus and community resources-campus tour
• Opportunities to meet other new international and domestic students at IAU
• Opportunities to meet Departmental Coordinators
All
newly admitted exchange students are required to attend orientation and
the immigration document check-in. If you do not attend both, Erasmus+
Office will place a hold on your registration. For more details, please

Residence Permit Check-in:
In
addition to the orientation, Erasmus+ students are also required to
come to the Residence Permit Check-in and bring photocopies of the
documents listed at THE FOLLOWING LINK
Make-up Orientation Session Schedule:
If
you are not able to arrive in Turkey by the orientation date, you may
schedule a make-up orientation session through email at [email protected] or via IAU Erasmus+ Online

Students
who fail to attend both the mandatory Erasmus+ Student Orientation and
the Residence Permit Check In will have a registration HOLD placed on
their records. If you are unable to attend one or both of the sessions above, please contact Erasmus+ Office at 0090 (212)- 444 1 428 or email [email protected]General information on the Orientation session will be sent to the students a couple of days prior to the beginning of the programme.
Orientation Programme in times of COVID 19 Pandemics*
*The student should be aware of the fact that depending on the evolution of the COVID 19 pandemics worldwide and in Turkey, both the Orientation programme and the courses for the upcoming semester/Academic year will be offered online and/ or as blended education. For this reason, we kindly ask all conditionally accepted students to strictly follow up all indications offered by our Office and relevant authorities for their health and safety.
