First Days In Host University

Make a research about the country, city, university and transportation system prior to your arrival.
Do not forget to take some cash with you.
Try to settle down at your dormitory or house as soon as possible.
Go to your host university and make your registration as soon as possible.
Do not miss the orientation program.
Find erasmus buddies if possible.
Get your duration sheet’s arrival section signed and stamped by the host university then e-mail it back to IAU Erasmus+ Office together with the student information form.
Do not forget to open a bank account and get a new mobile number if necessary.
In your first days, you might come across culture shock and be homesick. Just be patient and do not panic. You will be feeling great again maximum one week later.
Try to learn host country’s native language as much as possible.
Try to socialise as much as possible to overcome homesickness.
Don’t be shy and try to attend university’s excursions.
Try to make international friends as much as possible. Do not stay in your own community.
