General Information

The Mechanical Program is a discipline designed to train technicians for work in areas such as production, design, assembly, operation, and maintenance. These technicians focus on the design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Mechanical technicians can work in various sectors including automotive, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, electronics, mining, and many others.

The program offers students education in fundamental engineering principles, basic sciences such as mathematics and physics, business management, technical communication, manufacturing technologies, machine elements, mechanical design, control systems, and more. The aim is to equip students with both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

Students utilize a range of technological tools and resources for the design and production of various machines, including computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), computer numerical control (CNC) machines, simulation software, and many other tools.

The Mechanical Program is a practical two-year associate degree program designed to provide students with the skills needed to solve industrial problems. The final project of the program offers students an opportunity to apply the skills they have learned.
