Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) continues its work to build a better future in every aspect of our society. In this context, it was decided to launch the "Social Responsibility Workshop Series" as an important step.

At the meeting held with Istanbul Aydin University Application and Research Centers on December 27, 2023, it was decided to organize workshops in various social responsibility areas. It aims to raise social awareness by organizing workshops on topics such as disabled people, children, public health, age and aging, gender justice, digitalization, migration and poverty, environment and climate, cultural heritage and disaster. These workshops provide an important opportunity to draw attention to the problems our society faces, develop solutions and strengthen social solidarity. Each workshop will be enriched with the participation of experts in their field, and more effective results will be achieved by bringing together various perspectives.

Within the scope of the IAU Health Policy Application and Research Center Workshop Series, the workshop titled "Public Health" will be under the responsibility of our Center Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Arta ARMANİ. We would like to thank the AKEV Management and Prof. Dr. Mine ERGÜVEN for their support for the realization of the workshop.

On this occasion, we expect the active participation and support of the entire society in these studies and call on them to work together for a healthier, fairer and more sustainable society. Aware of our social responsibility, we look to the future with hope.
