​​​​​​Mission: The Department of Industrial Design includes designing all kinds of practicable goods in accordance with the needs of user groups. Industrial design is a field of study that enables creative thinking to be integrated into the concepts of function, form, value and identity and transformed into mass production in a way it is beneficial to society, users and producers. Industrial design is an interdisciplinary program in production development that collaborates with architecture, interior architecture, visual communication, engineering sciences and business management. The students of the department of Industrial Design will have a wide range of education including user researches, design methods, developing innovative ideas, building a prototype and computer modelling.

Career Opportunities: The graduates may participate in developing modules regarding exhibition and promotion and designing processes regarding product packing in industrial and economic fields; visual communication studies in private and public organizations take charge in museums, galleries and similar events ın cultural fields; designing, detailing, producing, marketing industrial products, electric and electronic products, all kind of industrial transportation vehicles, cars and other kind of furniture's sanitary system and sanitation elements such as wet area, kitchen, bathroom in social services and education services.  An industrial designer may work in the departments of management and technical management in accordance with the features of the workplace.
