​​​​​​Industrial designers may work as designers within industrial institutions in various sectors such as housing consumptions and usage objects, consumer electronics, white goods, furniture, lighting, automotive and transportation systems, city and public arena products, jewelry and fashion accessories, exhibition and packing; also they may work as industrial designers and project planners in R&D departments of companies. In addition, they can provide consultancy services to companies as freelance designers and develop products and service systems in their own design companies. Industrial designers can work in R&D departments or design units of industrial organizations. There is a growing number of designers in white goods, household electrical appliances, electronic products, furniture, ceramic and glass sectors in Turkey. In addition, they can establish design consultancy services that provides services in product development, brand development, communication design, user experience and can be employed in existing companies working in this field.
