The Faculty of Arts and Sciences is one of the first established faculties of Istanbul Aydın University. Our faculty has been continuing its education and training activities since 2007. The deanship of our faculty has been carried out by Prof. Dr. Hızır Tarık OĞUZLU since 2022.
The specific duties of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences are as follows:
1. To prepare its students for the future of Turkey and the world in the best way with its experienced academic staff and rich library facilities,
2. To act with an understanding that closely follows contemporary developments in the world and constantly renews itself,
3. To provide good field knowledge,
4. To provide opportunities and facilities that will contribute to the cultural, social and personal development of students,
5. To educate them with an understanding that questions, criticizes and produces knowledge as a result, rather than using ready-made information as is,
6. To provide graduate students with postgraduate education and academic career opportunities.
