​İAÜ Short Film Workshop was established in 2022 by Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema.

IAU Short Film Workshop is coordinated by Lecturer Volkan Budak. The purpose of establishing the workshop; The aim is to enable faculty students to produce fictional and documentary films using the theoretical and practical knowledge they have learned in classes, and to participate in film festivals and film competitions. In addition, it is aimed to increase the professional motivation of students and the visibility of Istanbul Aydin University in film festivals.
