Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To introduce general histological tissues forming the human body, microscopic structures and structure-function relationships of organ and systems, the developmental stages of embryological organisms and the development of tissue organ-specialized cells, etiology of audiological disorders.
Course Content Introduction to histology, use of microscopes and histological examination methods; fixation, paraffin embedding, sectioning and staining of tissues; types, functions and properties of epithelial tissue, connective and support tissue, Muscle tissue, features, structures and types; Nervous tissue histology; Sensory organs and structure of skin, related organs and cellular properties; Eye and ear histology; Embryo development, Structure and properties of male and female reproductive cells, Fertilization; Segmentation, implantation, gastrulation and formation of embryonal leaves; Development of head, neck and related organs, development of pharyngeal arches and related organs, development of pharyngeal pockets and related organs, development of face and jaw, eye development, ear development and development disorders
