Workplace Accidents in the Construction Sector
A meeting was held at the Occupational Health and Safety and Occupational Diseases Research Center for the international cartoon competition and symposium titled "Workplace Accidents in the Construction Sector," planned in cooperation with İBB and Istanbul Aydın University. The meeting was organized by ABMYO Director Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çıkrıkçı and teaching staff, with the participation of İBB Occupational Health and Safety Chief Dr. Özkan Karadağ and his team. The meeting aimed to raise awareness about workplace accidents in the construction sector, and the competition and organization were successfully planned with the contributions of the participants.
The Importance of Virtual Reality in Occupational Safety
An event attended by Ozan Adalı, Deputy General Manager of AYVOS Information Technologies, a rapidly growing company in the field of high technology computer vision software, focusing on image processing, was watched with great interest by students. The event, which was about the importance of virtual reality in occupational safety, was organized to highlight the integration of sensor data with image-processed data. AYVOS aims to provide services that make use of tools and environmental assessments through virtual reality technology, targeting fundamental and real knowledge in the field of OHS. By participating in this event, Ozan Adalı shared insights that offered students a different perspective on occupational safety.

Meditek company owner and Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Abidin Özler discussed sectorial problems, solutions and developments in software with İSG students. With its influence growing globally each day, the software world continues to focus on corporate information management systems.
As a company that produces sectorial software, MEDİTEK continues to be a pioneer in the sector. By sharing the password with our students, we provided a very productive training focused on important topics in İSG software.
HSE Training Seminar
Since 2002, Transforming Man has provided training and consulting services in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. Nuri Ersan, the founder of Transforming Man Occupational Health and Safety Training Services and Management Consulting, has organized an event. Nuri Ersan stated that almost all workplace accidents are preventable and that they have moral, legal, and financial implications. In his speech, he also informed employees and managers about international certification programs in the field of OHS.
TOSH ISTANBUL CHAMBER OF INDUSTRY OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY SYMPOSIUM
Occupational Safety Fair Tour Istanbul Chamber of Industry organized the 2nd Occupational Health and Safety Symposium on 02-04 May 2024 at Istanbul Convention Center. The symposium received a lot of attention from Occupational Health and Safety students. The teaching staff and students of the Occupational Health and Safety Program of ABMYO had the opportunity to get to know new technological products and services by touring the international fair area. In addition, all students attended sessions on topics that attracted their attention in different halls.
AMAZOİ Virtual Reality
A ugmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies, AR and VR field innovative solutions, users' real world deeper exploration providing AMAZOİ company founder Eren Yaşar Bey has also shared this experience with our students. They both theoretically and practically. The event was filled with fun moments.
