I always wanted to receive an education in marketing and after my son was born, I took a short break from my busy career and decided to receive an education in marketing at Istanbul Aydın University, Anadolu Vocational School. As someone who had an education in both Turkey and the United States before coming to Istanbul Aydın University; I was extremely pleased with both the quality and program of the education and the fact that it was a university with such good physical conditions. In fact, I had an education process that I never wanted to end. I would also like to state that; I saw that the education we received at Istanbul Aydın University was an education program that we encounter in business life and that makes us extremely equipped in terms of knowledge. Because the education I received at Istanbul Aydin University provided me with an advantage by allowing me to foresee possible situations I may encounter in business life both theoretically and practically. Duygu Aluç, Coordinator
I was born in Istanbul on March 01, 1983, but I am originally from Sivas. I completed my primary and secondary education at Gültepe Primary School and my high school education at 50. Yıl Çağlayan Super High School. After completing the high school preparatory class, I started working as a sales consultant due to my family's financial situation. I both worked and continued my high school education. According to my university exam result, I had received enough points to be accepted to several universities outside of Istanbul. However, due to the circumstances, I had to put an end to my education. Thereupon, I set goals to make a career in business life. My career life, which started in 2002 as a sales consultant in a children's clothing store, continued as an assistant manager, store manager, regional manager and general coordinator in the same company. When the company I worked for became the leader in its own market, I started receiving offers from rival companies. In the interviews I had, I saw that my experience alone was not enough and that my lack of academic skills was a disadvantage. I prepared for the exam again at the age of 31. I decided to complete the academic side of my job and started my education at Istanbul Aydin University, Anadolu Vocational School, Marketing Program. I was very lucky because you had a university that supported its students in every way. At this university, my paths crossed with our valuable marketing department head, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şule Darıcan. With her support, I adapted to university life very quickly. So much so that I graduated from the Marketing program in 2017 as the top student. With the never-ending sense of learning and success inside me, I transferred to Anadolu University, Faculty of Business Administration. When I combined my experiences in business life with the education I received from Istanbul Aydin University, I started to look at job offers professionally as a more self-confident person and I left the company I worked for for 15 years and transferred to a children's textile clothing company called Jolanda, which is in international markets. I have been working as a general coordinator in this company for about 2 years, and I represent the company I work for in the best way possible by participating in many national and international fairs to find new markets.
