Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	To learn material types and properties used in aircraft
Course Content	Iron-based and non-iron-based aircraft materials, composite materials, wooden structures, corrosion and prevention methods, threads, bolts, studs, locking tools, pipes, records, bearings, transmissions, control cables, electrical cables

Learning Outcomes

Having knowledge about basic working principles and functions of all kinds of (mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, etc.) components and systems used on airplanes.
Recognize the materials used on airplanes.
Recognize the mechanical and electrical system / parts working principles of aircraft.
Know the atmosphere properties and the effect on the planes of change in the atmosphere.
Recognize airline documents used for maintenance, repair and navigation on airplanes.
Know the formation of lift force and flight theory on airplanes.
Having information about the propellers in the piston engine planes.
Know human factors and error prevention methods in terms of aircraft maintenance and repair.
have information about maintenance of gas turbine and piston engine aircraft.
Has knowledge interpretation of aircraft collected on malfunction and maintenance.
Has knowledge about Trouble shouting Manual
Has knowledge location of indicating system on cockpit
Know aircraft-aircraft, aircraft-ground communication methods and systems.
