Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	Translates different types of texts from Arabic to Turkish. Analyzes different types of texts for translation purposes. Uses translation strategies. Discusses the problems of translatable and untranslatable.
Course Content	Translation of source texts from different genres (documents, commercial texts, legal texts, technical texts, literary texts, etc.), evaluation of translations; discuss how possible different translations of a source text are; To create translation awareness among students based on translation practices.

Learning Outcomes

Correlate the concepts of the field of Arabic Language Teaching and the teaching profession.
Recognize the relationship between the language education and the culture.
Identify the methods of production of scientific cognition.
Interpret the relationship between the main concepts in Arabic Language Teaching and the instructional practice.
Clarify the concepts and the processes relating to Arabic language teaching.
Develop skills for identifiying problems.
Appreciate the understanding and the analysis of the concepts and the processes relating to language instruction.
Apply the classroom management skills and technologies to promote positive attitude towards Arabic language learning.
Apply the most appropriate instructional strategies, methods and techniques in the field of Arabic Language Teaching.
