Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	It is aimed to explain the logistics and procurement activities of the tools, equipment and equipments that are the basis of production of Management Information Systems service in the context of theoretical approaches and to exemplify them at practical level. Supply Chain Management and Logistics are at the forefront of the issues that attract business attention in recent years with the competitive advantages they provide. The fact that the logistics industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world is a result of this. The aim of this course is to encourage private sector business opportunities and encourage them to do academic work by attracting the attention of the rapidly developing logistics sector in our country and by having knowledge about this issue.
Course Content	The basic concepts of logistics and supply chain management, value chain, supply chain and competitive advantage, logistics and supply chain system design, supply and demand, supply chain planning, logistics and supply chain management strategies, supply chain, inventory and order management, logistics and supply chains information technology topics. The basic concepts of supply chain and logistics. And points separated these two concepts overlap, the basic logistics activities, supply chain management, philosophy, information systems

The aim of the course

Learning Outcomes

Be aware of the fact that management information systems is a multidisciplinary field and interrelate the other fields
Know information technologies and systems which can be used in diferrent fields of an enterprise
Provide technical and managerial contribution to information projects and take responsibility
Be able to solve problems by using diferrent information technologies, systems and support decision-makers
Convey the experience that they have about information technologies and systems, recent developments and growing tendencies through any sort of means of communication and, if necessary, can do it in a foreign language at least.
Generate ideas for interdisciplinary studies which can combine social and technical fields and be able to conduct these ideas
Analyse the needs for an information systems and have control over the processes at the analysis, design and implementation stages of the database that belongs to the system
Have the conscioussness of social responsibility and understand and practice theprofessional, legal and ethical values in information field
Have the conscioussness of social responsibility and understand and practice theprofessional, legal and ethical values in information field
Have a wide acquaintance with managerial/functional applications of enterprise information systems
Know the algorithm and be able to use an up-to-date software.
