Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To learn how to design with the most advanced computer programs required for graphic design; production processes, equipment, file formats, color modes, units of measurement, etc. required for graphic design in digital environment. learn to manage; while producing a project, it is aimed to learn by producing to master all the necessary stages.
Course Content Importance of computer and technical equipment in graphic design; What is desktop publishing and its basic rules; design in new communication technologies; multimedia design; Use of Adobe InDesign and integration of the production process. Working with PDF.

1Desktop publishing in computer graphic design, basic principles of page design. Introduction to Indesign.
2Computer, computer programs, color modes, technical equipment, printing types, production techniques and processes.
3Desktop publishing and use of Adobe InDesign program. InDesign interface usage. Page creation, review of page design examples and use of master page.
4Project creation. Visual and text usage with InDesign. Page design application on computer.
5Catalog design. Text thread, text properties, styles, tables.
6Catalog design. Vector and pixel based study. Effect, filter usage.
7Catalog design. Review color, ink, transparency, overprint properties.
8Print preparation with InDesign.
9MIDTERM
10Multimedia work with InDesign. Preparation of publication. Difference between printing and screen work.
