Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In the lesson Russian Grammar II, the aim is to raise "language" consciousness in candidate translators and to raise awareness in students on subjects like the scope of language in our life and its power. In the lesson, some differences and similarities between the linguistics and usages of Turkish and Russian. In the lesson, translation applications on the levels of short sentence and compound sentence consisting of different difficulties are also going to be performed.
Course Content It is a follow-up of the studies made in the lesson Russian Grammar I. The aim is to develop the evaluation making skills of students in both languages.

1Active and inactive verbs in Russian and how to use them.
2Passive constructions with imperfective verbs and exercises.
3Passive constructions with perfective verbs and exercises.
4Reflexive verbs wihch are ending with – ся
5Introduction to participles.
6Usage of active voice participles with imperfective verbs in present tense.
7Usage of active voice participles with imperfective and perfective verbs in past tense. Exercises.
8Usage of passive voice participles with perfective verbs in present tense.
9Mid term exam
10Usage of passive voice participles with perfective verbs in past tense.
11Exercises about passive voice participles with perfective verbs.
12Degrees of comparison of adjectives and their usage in sentences.
13Excellent degree of adjectives and their usage in sentences.
14Full and short form of adjectives. Exercises. Preparation for final exam.
