Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to cover the knowledge of the pre-service teachers about the definition, purpose, content and psychological bases of life studies lesson and the skill set that they can use in real classroom teaching activities. In addition, within the scope of this course, it was aimed that the prospective teachers grasp the role of life studies lesson in preparing students for life. This course is one of the core courses of the classroom education program. In this course, the theoretical background and instructional skills that are planned to be acquired by the teacher candidates and their recognition of the first life studies lesson curriculum, reading through various pedagogical lenses, reconsidering the program in terms of cognitive demand phenomenon through the 2nd bloom taxonomy, the gains in the 3rd program It can be said that the contribution of this course to the classroom teaching profession is at a high level since it is aimed that they can create learner-based pedagogical content knowledge or instructional repertoire for sub-thoughts and big thoughts, apply their 4th lesson designs in real classroom environments and test their instructional quality.
Course Content Definition, purpose and nature of life science skin and phenomenon; The nature and how of life studies lesson curriculum, life studies teaching program and renewed bloom taxonomy, development of pedagogical content knowledge for the subject contents of life studies lesson, planning and application of in-class instructional activities, skills to be gained in life studies teaching, Values, science, mathematics, language concepts and thinking skills that should be taught within the context of life studies, measurement and evaluation of learning outcomes on the basis of subject knowledge and skills.
