The first university LED laboratory of Turkey with international accreditation was established with the support of Istanbul Development Agency and in cooperation with private sector in 2012. LED lighting's resistance against temperature, humidity, physical impacts and various environmental factors is tested in this laboratory. Light flux intensity transmitted to 4 pi space by LED lighting system is measured besides carrying out these tests.
