First and Immediate Aid Laboratory

Our students have the opportunity to practice the knowledge they have acquired in theoretical courses in the first and immediate aid laboratory. They have the chance of learning the necessary skills by using adult, infant and pediatric basic life support models, intubation models, intravenous venture models in the laboratory. They learn how to recognize all kinds of system traumas in patients and injured people, monitor patients with the proper immediate aid care approach and follow-up them.  They use EKG and defibrillation techniques in advanced life techniques, and find the opportunity of practicing how to bear a stretcher, handle, load and unload patients and injured people by means of the existing ambulance in order to ensure that the patients and injured people, who had their first aid, are transported to ambulance and hospital safely.
