Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	To understand the importance of the shoes design and gain knowledge and skills to students for shoes accessories.
Course Content	The concept for shoes; capsule-rivet, buckles, laser print, application of embroidery, stone pressed, punch application, making bow and some kinds of pleat

Learning Outcomes

Learns the history of shoe and bag design
With his/ her designs, correlates market trends and fundamental marketing issues
Works at management of the design department
Learning design processes.
Getting to know about pattern making process.
Notion of fashion. To be learned where and how to follow generally clothing and specific shoes and bag fashion trends.
Utilizes creative techniques at preparing original designs
Makes necessary calculations by using last measurement systems and related information
Determines needed materials by using leather measurement units and quantity calculation method
Recognizing that shoes and bag materials.
Learning that shoe production techniques.
Using drawing techniques about black-white picture and color picture.
Knowing tools, machines and software related making design and pattern.
Predisposition to teamwork. Executed activities within area of responsibility.
Generates the appropriate solutions to problems faced by the initiative.
Knowing the anatomical structure of the human foot.
Examines the types and dimensions of the last.
Knowing how to use 2 and 3-dimensional computer programs related to vocational

Smoothly talk, write, express oneself and understand what they read or listened in the Turkish language.

1	Accessories concept for shoe. Diverse of shoe accessorie importance of the accessory's for shoe design.
2	Capsule, rivet and laces. Types of shoe lace binding.
3	Buckle concept. Types of buckles and production methods.
4	Buckle design.
5	Buckle design. Fastening method of buckle on the upper shoe.
6	Bow and pleat making from different materials.
7	Bow and pleat making from different materials.
8	Application of laser print and embroidery. Application of stone press and metal snap.
9	Midterm exam.
10	Accessories with beads and flower application.
11	Flower application.
12	Unique accessories design for ladies shoe with different materials.
13	Unique accessories design for ladies shoe with different materials.
14	Unique accessories design for men shoe with different materials.
