Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In the COMPARATIVE LANGUAGE APPLICATIONS course the aim is to give the students the awareness of 'language' and to make them conscious of issues like the place and potency of language in our lives. In this course, some diffrerences and similarities in Turkish and Russian grammar and usage in a way that will equip students for tranlation practice. Also, translation practice at the level of short sentences and compound sentences of varying difficulty will be carried out in the course.
Course Content The comparison of different linguistic structures in both languages. A comparison will be made between similar or different structures in both languages that serve the same purpose.
