Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Developmental stages of art history discipline in the World and in Turkey, concept of art, history of art and through the ages in the chronological phases, private professional language and terminology and basic concepts of Art History Definition and types of art, art historical periods from the beginning until the main lines are discussed. Art used on architecture, painting, sculpture, crafts and other subjects are taught about the terms in the examples.
Course Content This lesson contents are; the development process of Art History,from the Aegean and the Greek Civilization to 16.th century.Which political conditions prepared Renaissance in Europe? The concept of the Renaissance, the relationship between art, architecture, painting and sculpture based on specimens examined in detail comparatively analyzed.
